Point Pelee National Park

There is plenty to see and do in this national park near Leamington, Ontario, Canada.

This is a great place to spend a whole day of outdoor activities — from hiking to biking to kayaking. Take some time to head down to “the tip” and see the end of Ontario, keeping an eye out for wildlife along the way.

Kayaking is a great way to see the marsh

If you have a chance to kayak or canoe through the marsh, take it, as it is very peaceful, especially if you can get out there after the rental place closes (7 p.m.)

The marsh boardwalk is also a nice way to experience the marsh if you aren’t into boating.

No camping is allowed in this national park, but if you drive to nearby Wheatley, Ontario, you will find the Wheatley Provincial Park that offers several campground loops to choose from.
