This is a great state park inside the Porcupine Mountains on the west side of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
It’s a beautiful area with plenty of possibilities to hike either from the campground or from a short drive away.
It’s nice to have one half of the park designated for generators and one half for no generators. Be aware that where you’re at in the no-generator section determines whether you’ll hear the generators from the other half of the park or not.
