When traveling through the northern part of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula — which is when you are really north, try not to miss the Brockway Mountain Drive, especially if you’re there in the fall.
Take your time and enjoy the scenic turnouts as you find them. But watch out for the fools who are in some sort of a rush to get up and down as quickly as possible. The curves and hills mixed with drivers who are hurrying can be frustrating.
When you get near the top, make sure you get out of your vehicle and walk around to take in the views from the Brockway Mountain Lookout.
